On Friday, the Ruepoint team joined communications professionals from all over Ireland at the Shelbourne Hotel for the 2025 PRCA Spotlight Awards. The event, organised by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Ireland, brought together agencies and clients to celebrate campaigns that show both great execution and real impact. I (Laura Gunnery), along with my colleagues Susan Ryan, Agnieszka Gleeson, and Steven Herd, enjoyed celebrating the best of Irish PR.
This year’s Spotlight Awards had fresh energy and focus, showing how insight, creativity, and strategic planning work together to create meaningful results. It was an honor to be with peers doing work that highlights the changing role of public relations in business, policy, and society.
Proud sponsors of the Campaign of the Year category
Ruepoint was honoured to support a special award at the top of the programme. This award is chosen by the Chair of Judges from all the campaign winners. It recognises work that stands out for clear goals, strong results, and a positive impact on the industry. I had the honour of presenting the award on behalf of Ruepoint. It was a highlight moment and a great chance to celebrate the best of Irish PR.
The 2024 Campaign of the Year went to Teneo for “Dublin Zoo Elephant Emergency: Navigating Dublin Zoo’s EEHV Crisis with Transparency, Empathy and Science.” This campaign stood out for its clarity, sensitivity, and effectiveness in managing a complex issue with care and professionalism.
Here’s to the Craft Behind the Work
Congratulations to all the winners and shortlisted teams. The work on show reminds us of the value our industry delivers when it’s insight-led, accountable, and collaborative.
We’re grateful to the PRCA Ireland team and all involved in making the event a success. We look forward to continuing our support for campaigns that raise the standard, and to the conversations still ahead.
