In just a few weeks, the Ruepoint team will be heading to Vienna for the AMEC Global Summit 2025 – the world’s leading forum for communication measurement and evaluation. From emerging trends in AI and ethics to redefining how we report and prove impact, this year’s programme promises both sharp insight and lively debate.
For some of us, it’s a first-time experience. For others, it’s a familiar gathering of peers and ideas. But for all of us, it’s a chance to challenge assumptions, connect with the community, and bring home new thinking to strengthen the work we do every day.
Here’s what our team members are most looking forward to.
Raina Lazarova, Co-Founder & COO, AMEC Board of Directors Chair
“Each year, the AMEC Global Summit brings together some of the most engaged, curious, and dedicated people in our industry. It’s a space where we learn from each other, challenge each other, and move forward together.
As Chair of AMEC, I’ve seen how powerful that sense of community can be. The relationships built here – across teams, companies, and countries – are what make the organisation so meaningful and relevant year after year.
This year’s theme “Reputation, Reliability & Results” reflects the core challenges we’re all thinking about. How we build trust, how we stay consistent, and how we show the value of our work. These are big questions, and AMEC is where we explore the answers together.”
Laura Gunnery, Commercial Director
“I’m really excited to be attending the AMEC Global Summit for the first time! It’s a key event in our industry, and I’m looking forward to hearing fresh perspectives, discovering new approaches, and learning from the best. What makes it even more special for me is the chance to meet some industry friends and colleagues I’ve only connected with virtually until now.
I’ve visited Vienna before, but only during the Christmas markets, so I can’t wait to see the city in the summer and explore a different side of it. Combining such a vibrant location with the buzz of the summit makes this a really exciting experience both personally and professionally. I’m looking forward to being inspired and bringing those ideas back to the team.”
Iskren Lilov, Head of Marketing and Comms
“Vienna has always been a city where big ideas get their own soundtrack, so I can’t think of a better stage for AMEC’s 2025 theme of ‘Reputation, Reliability & Results’ to play out. When the waltz of data, insight and creativity fills the Festsaal, we’ll have the chance to prove that measurement isn’t the encore, but the opening act that shapes every note that follows.
In my keynote ‘PR of Tomorrow: From a Linear to a Cyclical Approach’, I will show how a loop can replace the old plan-push-pray routine. Expect some reality checks on legacy KPIs, a toolbox for fusing scrambled data into decision-ready intelligence, and real-world stories of how a cyclical approach slashes reaction times while amplifying ROI. If we swap straight lines for circles, then we are not only measuring impact, but harnessing its patterns and using them for sustainable growth. If that sounds useful, come along and ask the difficult questions.”
Susan Ryan, Head of Insight Consultancy
“Every year, the AMEC Summit brings fresh perspectives to how we think about insight, impact, and ethics in communications. I’m especially looking forward to two sessions this year – ‘Tackling the #PRethics of Organisational Gaslighting’ and ‘Fairy Tales and Horror Stories: Applying genAI-Based Solutions to Real Client Research Questions’. These topics speak to the complex, often sensitive decisions we face as insight professionals. And of course, the Summit is always a great chance to reconnect with peers and learn from the best in our field.”
Esma Riza, Head of Client Solutions
“This will be my first AMEC Global Summit, and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into what’s become the gold standard for measurement and evaluation in our industry. What draws me most is the opportunity to connect with leading industry professionals who are shaping the future of communications measurement. I’m looking forward not just to the insightful sessions and case studies, but to those conversations between sessions where real insights happen – learning from practitioners who are solving the same challenges we face every day. There’s something powerful about being in a room with people who share that passion for proving the true value of our work.”
Yana Zlatanova, Head of Media Evaluation
“I’m really looking forward to attending the AMEC Global Summit 2025 in Vienna- a standout event for staying ahead in the ever-evolving world of media measurement and evaluation. I’m especially excited to explore the latest tools and methods that can help us deepen the insights we deliver to clients. The focus on reputation, reliability, and results aligns perfectly with the challenges we tackle daily, and I’m keen to bring back fresh ideas and inspiration to share with the team. Plus, connecting with industry peers from around the world is always a highlight!”
See you in Vienna – or online.
Whether it’s your first AMEC or your fifth, the summit is a chance to hit pause, zoom out, and see the bigger picture. From coffee chats to keynotes, it’s where good questions meet great ideas – and where the value of our work becomes clearer, louder, and more actionable. We’re excited to be there, to share what we know, and to keep learning.
