Ruepoint at 8: Key Moments from Our Story

Eight years. 
That’s eight years of early mornings and big ideas, tight deadlines and breakthrough moments. Eight years of learning, building, growing, and doing it all with people we trust and respect. 

We’ve changed a lot since day one. From a small team with big ambition to a global player in media intelligence, the journey has been shaped by the values we still hold close: collaboration, curiosity, and a shared belief that strategy starts with clarity. 

As we mark this milestone, we are now looking back at eight key moments that made us who we are and continue to guide where we’re going. 

1. The Beginning

Ruepoint’s story started above a denture shop on Pearse Street, in a small Dublin office filled with big ambition (and the occasional strange smell). There were no playbooks – just a handful of people ready to work hard, sign those first clients, and build something real from the ground up. 

That early spirit – jumping in, figuring things out, and learning from each other, still runs deep. From those first chaotic weeks to this day the growth has been incredible. What hasn’t changed? The friendships, the hustle, and the feeling that you’re always surrounded by people you can learn from. 

2. Building the Brand: A Lighthouse with a Mission

Ruepoint was named after the Rue Point lighthouse, a symbol of guidance, clarity, and consistency. From the start, we saw our role the same way: helping clients navigate the sea of media content with confidence and direction. 

That simple image became our compass. It shaped our commitment to high standards and exceptional care – values that helped us grow from a local company to a globally recognised name in the media intelligence industry. Today, Ruepoint still stands for trust, quality, and the promise of showing up when it matters most. 

3. Going Remote, Staying Close

In 2020, like many teams, we made the shift to remote work. But what started as a response to uncertainty became a defining strength. We didn’t just adapt, we reimagined how we work, communicate, and connect. 

Today, Ruepoint is fully remote, with people across Europe and beyond. We’ve built a culture that doesn’t rely on an office, just on trust, flexibility, and a shared sense of purpose. Being remote has helped us grow faster, support each other better, and show up for our clients in more agile ways than ever before. 

4. Going Global

From local roots to a global footprint, Ruepoint has grown into a trusted name in media intelligence. What began in a small Dublin office is now a team of 100+ people across Europe, serving 450+ clients worldwide. We’ve expanded our reach, deepened our expertise, and evolved into a truly international operation, without losing the culture of curiosity, trust, and collaboration that got us here. 

5. Awards & Recognition

Over the years, Ruepoint has been honoured at several industry awards, highlighting our commitment to measurement excellence. In 2024, we received six accolades at the AMEC Global Communication Effectiveness Awards, including Best Evaluation on a Small Budget and Most Impactful Client Recommendations. At the 2024 DataComms Awards, we earned bronze for Best Data Insight from an Integrated Campaign. And most recently, we joined PRII as the sponsor for the “Most Impactful Public Affairs Campaign” category at their Communication Impact Awards in 2025. These wins are a real reflection of our team’s data-led strategy and collaborative spirit.

6. Raina Lazarova - Chair of the AMEC Board of Directors

In 2024, Raina Lazarova, Ruepoint Co-Founder and COO, was appointed Chair of the AMEC Board of Directors – the world’s leading organisation for communication measurement and evaluation. It was a proud milestone not just for Raina, but for the entire Ruepoint team. Her leadership at AMEC reflects our long-standing commitment to advancing global standards in communication measurement, and to shaping the future of our industry from the front. 

7. Events & Webinars

Knowledge sharing is in our DNA. Over the years, Ruepoint has actively hosted and participated in events that shape the media intelligence conversation. We produced webinars such as “Demonstrate the ROI of Communication” and “Aligning Communications with Organisational Objectives” during AMEC’s Measurement Month. Our team has also presented insights at major industry gatherings, including the PRovoke Summit, FIBEP World Media Intelligence Congress, ICCO Global Summit, PRCA International Summit, PR Week Measurement, PRII National Conference, AMEC Global Summit, and many more. These platforms have given us crucial opportunities to exchange ideas, share best practices, and stay ahead of trends. 

8. Joining the Muck Rack family

In January of 2025, we became part of the Muck Rack family, a milestone that marked not just growth, but a growing ambition. From day one, it was clear we shared a vision for the future of media intelligence, one rooted in technology, human touch, transparency, and client impact. 

This new exciting era brought new opportunities, broader reach, and deeper collaboration. But most importantly, it allowed us to stay true to what makes Ruepoint… Ruepoint. We have kept our voice, our culture, and our commitment to clients, and we’ve added even more momentum behind it.
